My Home Quarter from Night Owl Quilting

  

This is going to be a bit of a unique post.  I made this Home Quarter quilt top, but I did not do the longarm quilting!  I made this top at a Highway 10 Designs retreat earlier this year (remember quilting retreats?) that Kathy and I hosted at Keystone Modern Creative.  The fabric was a bundle of fat quarters in the Libbs Elliot Tattooed North line.  I didn't have a plan for the quilt so it went onto my "to be quilted" stack.

Chianti from Night Owl Quilting


Shylyte made this wonderful batik top in a gorgeous purple palette.  The pattern is called "Chianti" and is from Villa Rosa Designs.


Shylyte selected the Daisy Bounce pantograph with Quilter's Dream Puff Batting.  I suggested a lovely purple Magnifico thread #2123 called February that is fabulous on batiks.



I have the first two blocks done in the Manitoba Prairie Quilter's applique block of the month.  I am about 4 months behind but am motivated to get caught up.  Not my normal type of project but I do like participating when quilters make the effort to organize something, and ...
